Ryan O'Reilly scored the lone goal in the shootout as the visiting Nashville Predators battled for a 4-3 win against the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday.
Jonathan Toews tied the game 3-3 with 1:01 remaining in regulation when Connor Hellebuyck was pulled for an extra skater, and Mark Scheifele set Toews up for a snap shot. Following a scoreless overtime period, O'Reilly got the better of Hellebuyck in the first round of the shootout.
Jonathan Marchessault had two assists on the evening, and Filip Forsberg had a goal and an assist for the Predators, who had lost each of their last two games against the Jets. Juuse Saros made 36 saves.

Eric Haula put Nashville up 1-0 at 13:02 of the first period. The Predators were on their first power play of the game, and Haula tipped Roman Josi's shot past Hellebuyck.
