Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 20 points in three quarters as the Oklahoma City Thunder raced out to a big lead and easily extended their winning streak to 10 games with a 121-92 rout of the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night in New York.

Gilgeous-Alexander scored at least 20 for the 130th straight game to extend his NBA record, reaching the mark on a drive to the hoop early in the third after Oklahoma City (55-14) took a 60-24 lead by halftime.

Gilgeous-Alexander made 8 of 9 shots from the field and did not attempt a 3-pointer for the first time since Feb. 10, 2024.

Jared McCain surpassed Gilgeous-Alexander by scoring a season-high 26 off the bench on 9-of-16 shooting. Aaron Wiggins added 17, Isaiah Joe chipped in 13, Chet Holmgren contributed 11 and Ajay Mitchell finished with 10.

The Thunder shot 52.9%, made 14 of 35 3s and had 16 steals while allowing under 100 points for the 16th time this season.

The Nets (17-52) sat Michael Porter Jr. (sprained left ankle/hamstring) for a fourth straight game and lost Noah Clowney to a sprained right wrist in the opening quarter.

Brooklyn lost its fifth straight and for the 15th time in 17 games in its second consecutive lopsided loss.

Jalen Wilson led the Nets with 15 points and rookie Nolan Traore added 13 and six assists. Chaney Johnson contributed 12 and Ochai Agbaji finished with 10 as the Nets trailed by as many as 42.

The Nets shot 36.7%, missed their first 10 3-point tries and finished 11 of 35 from behind the arc. Brooklyn also allowed 31 points off 23 turnovers.

Gilgeous-Alexander scored nine points as the Thunder limited the Nets to 4-of-20 shooting and forced seven turnovers for a 28-11 lead after the opening quarter. The lead stretched to 36-13 on a dunk by Kenrich Williams a little over three minutes into the second. The Thunder took a trio of 30-point leads before consecutive layups by Gilgeous-Alexander helped them open a 36-point lead by halftime.

Oklahoma City ripped off 13 straight points for an 81-39 lead on a 3 by Wiggins with 5:43 left and Gilgeous-Alexander took a seat for good about a minute later. The Thunder led 91-55 entering the fourth.
