Coby White had 27 points off the bench, Brandon Miller poured in 25 points and LaMelo Ball had 20 points as the Charlotte Hornets rolled on offense again in a 130-111 victory against the Orlando Magic on Thursday night.
It was a masterful offensive performance for the Hornets, who racked up 22 3-pointers and went 24-for-27 from the free-throw line.
Kon Knueppel had 17 points, Ryan Kalkbrenner provided 13 and Miles Bridges posted 11 for Charlotte (36-34), which won four the fourth time in its last five games. It's the fourth time since late February that the Hornets have reached the 130-point level, and this one came with the scoring tailing off in the final few minutes.
The Magic (38-31) received 24 points from Desmond Bane and 20 points from Paolo Banchero, but they made just 33.3% (14-for-42) of their 3-point tries. Jamal Cain added 15 points and Jevon Carter had 11 points, with Orlando's reserves playing a good chunk of the second half as the Magic's deficit reached 35 points.
Orlando has a three-game losing streak following a seven-game winning streak.
The Hornets won the final three meetings of the season with the Magic after Orlando won the first matchup.
The Magic stayed tight until the second quarter, with the Hornets cruising to a 72-53 halftime advantage. Charlotte led 110-77 through three quarters.
Miller, who also supplied eight assists, shot 8-for-14 with five 3-point baskets and White was 7-for-13 with five 3s. Knueppel added four 3s.
Charlotte finished with a 41-31 edge on the boards, though no player on the team had more than Ball's and Knueppel's six apiece.
The Hornets retired the No. 30 jersey of former player Dell Curry, father of Stephen and Seth Curry, as part of the night's activities. His sons joined him on the court for the halftime ceremony.
