Former Pittsburgh coach Mike Tomlin is preparing for a second career in television, as the Steelers' co-leader in all-time wins has signed a deal with sports media agents, per multiple reports.
Front Office Sports on Tuesday reported that the deal was with the Montag Group, where Sandy Montag and former sportscaster Alex Flanagan are expected to represent Tomlin in talks with any media suitors.
Tomlin, who turned 54 earlier this month, is expected to receive interest from multiple networks and streaming services this offseason. He stepped down as Steelers coach following the conclusion of the 2025-26 season after 19 seasons without a losing record.
The Super Bowl XLIII-winning coach posted a 193-114-2 record during his time with Pittsburgh, tying him with Hall of Famer Chuck Noll for ninth place in regular-season wins among all NFL coaches, equal atop the Steelers chart.
Tomlin's Steelers went 10-7 in 2025 with a 30-6 wild-card loss to the Houston Texans on Jan. 12.
The Steelers replaced Tomlin with Mike McCarthy in late January, inking the Pittsburgh native despite his not coaching in the league in 2025. Previously, McCarthy compiled a 49-35 record in Dallas from 2020-24. He also went 125-77-2 with one Super Bowl title for Green Bay from 2006-18.
