The Eagles kicked off Organized Team Activities on Monday and continued to work behind the scenes to get the rookie class under contract.
Sixth-round pick Cameron Williams became the latest draftee to ink his four-year deal. The offensive tackle was the 207th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Williams has already left a strong first impression on one of the team captains.
"I love our rookies. This is a great rookie class, especially in that O-line room," All-Pro left tackle Jordan Mailata said. "They work hard. And I told Myles (Hinton) and I told Cameron and I told Drew (Kendall), I said, 'I don't care if you come for my job. If you're better than me, you're going to be better than me. But I'm going to make it damn hard for you to reach that."
The 6-foot-6, 317-pound Williams started 15 games at right tackle for a Texas team that reached the semifinals of the College Football Playoff in 2024. He was part of an offensive line that was named a finalist for the Joe Moore Award, given to the nation's top offensive line.
The Duncanville, Texas native was a Top 10 offensive tackle and Top 100 overall prospect nationally in high school.
Williams entered the draft after his junior year at just 21 years old.
In 37 career games (16 starts), Williams allowed just six sacks in 612 pass block snaps.
