Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren accepted an invitation to compete in the 2026 NBA Slam Dunk contest, ESPN reported on Tuesday.
Duren will join Los Angeles Lakers center Jaxson Hayes and San Antonio Spurs rookie forward Carter Bryant in the event on Feb. 14 in Inglewood, Calif., one day before the All-Star Game.
Mac McClung, who has won the contest in each of the previous three years, is not expected to participate this time.
Duren, 22, is averaging 18.0 points and 10.7 rebounds in 41 games (all starts) this season.
