Before the second period was over, Mantha made it a 5-3 affair at 17:18 by converting another backhand deke as he drove to the net after receiving a cross-ice feed.
Hayes extended the margin at 6:06 of the third period when he slid home the loose puck.
Rakell netted his second of the game less than two minutes later when the puck bounced off him after Brazeau's shot was stopped on another odd-man rush.
Rust rounded out the scoring with 3:44 remaining.
After a scoreless opening frame, the clubs combined for an eight-goal second period.
Lee opened the scoring with a power-play goal 87 seconds into the frame, and Barzal doubled the lead 89 seconds later by lifting a top-corner shot.
