Ryan Rollins scored 24 points and Kyle Kuzma added 20 to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a dominant 123-99 victory over the visiting Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night.
Rollins also dished nine assists and grabbed seven rebounds for Milwaukee as the Bucks ended a four-game skid. AJ Green poured in 17 points off the bench while Gary Trent Jr. scored 13.
Cooper Flagg led Dallas with 19 points on 6-for-19 shooting as the Mavericks lost their seventh game in the last eight contests. Brandon Williams added 18 while former Buck Khris Middleton started and scored eight.
Milwaukee was without Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bobby Portis and Kevin Porter Jr., among others, while Dallas was also without Klay Thompson, Naji Marshall, Marvin Bagley III and P.J. Washington.
The Bucks got off to a hot start on the offensive end. Milwaukee shot 63.6% from the field and 4-for-9 from deep in the opening quarter to take a 38-31 lead into the second.
It was the defensive side where Milwaukee stepped up in the second quarter as the Bucks forced five turnovers and held Dallas to just 29.2% shooting from the floor. The Bucks went into halftime with a 65-51 advantage.
Rollins and Kuzma dominated the stat sheet with a combined 33 points in the half while Williams had 12 to lead Dallas.
The struggles would continue for Dallas into the second half as the Mavericks scored just 19 points in the third on 29.2% shooting once again.
In addition to holding down the Mavericks on the defensive end, the Bucks were moving the ball around well on offense. Milwaukee dished out 28 assists compared to just 18 from the Mavericks while also winning the rebound battle 59-50.
Milwaukee swept the two-game season series and won its eighth consecutive matchup against Dallas. The Mavericks have not won the season series since the 2019-20 season.
