Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his wife, actress Hailee Steinfeld, announced the birth of their first child -- a girl -- on Thursday.
The announcement came in Steinfeld's Beau Society newsletter, in which she previously shared updates about her pregnancy. They did not disclose their daughter's name, nor when or where she was born.
'Our baby girl has arrived!! We're feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes. Love, Hailee and Josh,' the post read.
Allen and Steinfeld, both 29, married last May in California. They announced her pregnancy in December via social media.
In a news conference the following month, Allen discussed his excitement about becoming a first-time parent.
'It's something that I will take with great pride. And we're going to have to figure things out on the go, just like anything else,' he said.
'But this is the most important thing I'll ever be in my life, being a dad. And I know I love being a football player, and I love being a quarterback for the Buffalo Bills. But I'm looking forward to this one.'
