Mike Trout hit his 415th career homer, singled, walked twice and scored two runs to lead the Los Angeles Angels to a 4-3 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday night in Anaheim, Calif.

Zach Neto went 2-for-4 with a home run and Jorge Soler also hit a home run for Los Angeles, which snapped a two-game skid and won for just the second time in 11 games. Jose Fermin (1-1) struck out two during a scoreless inning of relief and Ryan Zeferjahn pitched out of a bases-loaded jam in the ninth to pick up his first save.

Chase Meidroth homered and had two hits and two runs and Andrew Benintendi also had two hits for Chicago, which lost to the Angels for the first time in five games this season. Erick Fedde (0-4) allowed four runs on six hits over 4 2/3 innings. He walked two and struck out two.

After Chicago scored twice in the top of the first , Los Angeles tied it in the bottom of the inning on the home runs by Trout and Soler. It was Trout's 11th home run of the season and broke a tie with Darrell Evans for 55th place on the all-time home run list.

Astros 2, Dodgers 1Peter Lambert twirled seven scoreless innings to outduel Shohei Ohtani and lead Houston to an interleague victory over visiting Los Angeles.Lambert (2-2) matched his career high for innings pitched and set a single-game high with 104 pitches. With pitching-strapped Houston needing length from its starter, Lambert delivered.Ohtani (2-2) was nearly as sharp, save for two fastballs that were launched out to left field. Ohtani needed only 10 pitches to breeze through the bottom of the first inning. But his first pitch of the second resulted in a 1-0 deficit when Christian Walker drilled a fastball 395 feet to left for his ninth homer of the season.

Cubs 3, Reds 2

Michael Busch singled in the winning run in the 10th inning after tying the game with a solo homer in the eighth, and Chicago beat visiting Cincinnati for its seventh straight victory.

Busch drove in automatic runner Dansby Swanson from second base with a single to center field against Sam Moll (1-2) to give the Cubs their second straight walk-off victory. Ryan Rolison (3-0) pitched a scoreless 10th inning for Chicago, which has won 13 straight games at Wrigley Field, the team's longest home winning streak since it won 14 in a row in 2008.

JJ Bleday and Nathaniel Lowe each hit solo homers for Cincinnati, which lost its fifth straight game. The Reds lost the opener of the four-game series 5-4 on Michael Conforto's solo homer in the bottom of the ninth inning on Monday.

Braves 3, Mariners 2

Matt Olson hit a tiebreaking home run leading off the ninth inning as Atlanta rallied to defeat host Seattle and even their three-game series at one win apiece.

The Braves, who haven't lost a series all season, will have a chance to continue that streak Wednesday afternoon when the interleague set wraps up.

Olson hammered a 2-1 slider from Mariners closer Andres Munoz (3-3) 412 feet to left-center field. It was Olson's second homer in as many nights and his National League-leading 13th of the season. Braves reliever Robert Suarez (3-0) pitched a 1-2-3 eighth and closer Raisel Iglesias, activated from the injured list (right shoulder inflammation) earlier in the day, worked the ninth for his sixth save.

Rays 4, Blue Jays 3

Ben Williamson singled in the tiebreaking run in the eighth inning as Tampa Bay stayed hot with its 11th win in 12 games, rallying past Toronto in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Holding a 3-2 lead through six innings, the Blue Jays turned to their bullpen, but the Rays took their first lead with four consecutive hits, including RBI singles by Yandy Diaz and Williamson, against Tyler Rogers (1-2) in the two-run eighth.

Casey Legumina (1-1) tossed a scoreless eighth and Cole Sulser posted his second save with a perfect ninth. Chandler Simpson had two hits plus a run and stolen base. Toronto's Kazuma Okamoto was 2-for-4 with a solo homer, and Andres Gimenez had two hits, a run, an RBI and a stolen base. Kevin Gausman tossed six innings and allowed two runs on six hits.

Phillies 9, Athletics 1

Cristopher Sanchez worked eight scoreless innings and Bryce Harper homered twice to spur Philadelphia to a win over the visiting Athletics.

Harper finished 3-for-4 with three RBIs and three runs for Philadelphia, now 7-1 under interim manager Don Mattingly. Bryson Stott also homered for the Phillies, while Sanchez (3-2) took care of the rest, striking out 10 while yielding just three singles and a walk.

A's starter Luis Severino (2-3) allowed one run and seven hits in five innings. The visitors finished with four hits -- all singles -- in losing for the third time in their last four games.

Red Sox 10, Tigers 3

Ceddanne Rafaela had three hits and drove in four runs, including a three-run homer, and visiting Boston pounded Detroit.

Willson Contreras and Wilyer Abreu supplied back-to-back homers while scoring two runs apiece. Abreu joined Rafaela with a three-hit game as the Red Sox posted 12 hits for the second straight game against Detroit, both wins. Following opener Jovani Moran, Brayan Bello (2-4) limited the Tigers to one run and four hits in seven innings while striking out seven.

Framber Valdez (2-2) gave up all 10 runs (seven earned) and nine hits in three-plus innings. He was ejected after hitting Trevor Story with a pitch. Matt Vierling led the Tigers' offense with a solo home run.

Twins 11, Nationals 3

Byron Buxton hit a three-run home run, Taj Bradley pitched six strong innings and Minnesota beat host Washington.

Brooks Lee had three hits and drove in three runs for the Twins, who have won back-to-back games for the first time since a four-game run April 11-14. Bradley (4-1) allowed two runs on four hits. He struck out eight and walked two.

Curtis Mead and Jose Tena each had two hits for Washington, which fell to 4-13 at home. Cade Cavalli (1-2) allowed six runs (three earned) on five hits over four innings.

Orioles 9, Marlins 7Adley Rutschman hit a two-out, pinch-hit single to drive in the tiebreaking run in the ninth inning and Baltimore held on to down host Miami and end a five-game losing streak.Samuel Basallo went 3-for-4 with four RBIs and Pete Alonso doubled in two separate Orioles. Through the fifth inning, Basallo already had a single, double and triple, but he was replaced in the ninth by Rutschman. Leody Taveras followed Rutschman with an RBI single. Baltimore right-hander Rico Garcia (3-0) pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings.Liam Hicks went 4-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs for the Marlins, who've lost four of their last five games. Teammate Otto Lopez also homered. Miami left-hander Andrew Nardi (2-2) allowed both runs in the ninth.

Yankees 7, Rangers 4

Jazz Chisholm Jr. hit a go-ahead homer with two outs in the sixth inning as New York overcame an early deficit against Jacob deGrom and earned a victory over visiting Texas.

Ryan McMahon tied the game at 3-3 with a two-run homer in the second, becoming only the fourth player with at least three career homers off deGrom. Cody Bellinger contributed three RBIs and Paul Goldschmidt added a solo homer in the eighth for the Yankees, who have won five straight and 15 of 17.

deGrom (2-2) allowed season highs of six runs and seven hits in 6 1/3 innings, striking out seven for the Rangers. Josh Jung collected three hits and extended his hitting streak to 13 games and scored on a wild pitch during Texas' three-run first.

Diamondbacks 9, Pirates 0Eduardo Rodriguez tossed seven scoreless innings and Geraldo Perdomo had a two-run double during a five-run sixth inning as Arizona notched a shutout victory over Pittsburgh at Phoenix.Rodriguez (3-0) allowed two hits as he matched his longest outing of the season. Ketel Marte had two hits, two RBIs and scored twice, Gabriel Moreno had two hits and one RBI and Adrian Del Castillo drove in two as Arizona broke a four-game losing streak.The Pirates were 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position while seeing their three-game winning streak halted. Bubba Chandler (1-4) allowed two runs and two hits over five innings to lose his third consecutive start.

Royals 5, Guardians 3

Stephen Kolek allowed only a three-run homer over six solid innings of his 2026 debut, and Michael Massey clubbed a go-ahead, two-run shot in the fourth as surging Kansas City won its season-high fifth straight, prevailing over visiting Cleveland.

Isaac Collins also homered and was a triple shy of the cycle for the Royals, who have won the first two of this four-game set and are 10-3 since losing eight in a row. Kolek (1-0) was activated off the 15-day injury list from an oblique strain to take the mound in place of Noah Cameron, who was scratched with low back tightness.

The Royals, meanwhile, wasted no time getting to Gavin Williams (5-2). He gave up two runs in the first and five runs overall in six innings, allowing a season-high eight hits with seven strikeouts and two walks. Cleveland had won his previous six starts.

Padres 10, Giants 5

Miguel Andujar led a 14-hit attack with a single, double and triple, Walker Buehler pitched into the sixth inning despite a rough start, and visiting San Diego rallied from an early deficit to overtake San Francisco.

Xander Bogaerts homered and drove in two runs while Nick Castellanos, Sung-Mun Song and Jackson Merrill chipped in with two RBIs apiece for the Padres, who had lost five of their previous six games.

Casey Schmitt hit Buehler's fifth pitch of the game for a two-run homer and Jesus Rodriguez homered and contributed an RBI single in a two-run second inning, helping the Giants stake Logan Webb (2-4) to a 4-1 lead through two innings.
