The Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to terms on a four-year extension with veteran kicker Chris Boswell, according to a report from ESPN.
The deal is reportedly for four years and $28 million, matching the highest average annual salary for a kicker in NFL history ($7 million), per ESPN, with the identical extension that Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey agreed to in April. Boswell was entering the final season under contract but is now signed through 2030.
Boswell, 35, has played his entire 11-year career in Pittsburgh. He's made 299 of 341 field goals (87.7%, sixth-highest percentage on the all-time NFL list) and 353 of 369 extra points (95.7%), earning a pair of Pro Bowl nods (2017, 2024) and a first-team All-Pro honor in 2024.
Last season, he made 27 of 32 field goals and 42 of 43 extra points, including a career-long and franchise-record 60-yarder to beat the New York Jets 34-32 on Sept. 7.
