All-Pro linebacker Jack Campbell agreed to terms on a contract extension with the Detroit Lions on Thursday.
Financial terms were not disclosed by the team on the deal, however NFL Network reported it was a four-year contract that extends through the 2030 season.
'I signed my extension. I'm excited to be back. I'm excited to be here long term,' Campbell said in a video posted by the team. 'Now it's time to go win a Super Bowl. Go Lions.'
The move comes nearly one month after the Lions opted against picking up the fifth-year option of Campbell. The option would have paid Campbell an estimated $21.925 million.
Campbell, 25, earned All-Pro first-team and Pro Bowl honors last season with career highs in tackles (176), sacks (five) and forced fumbles (three) in 17 starts.
He has 402 tackles and 8.5 sacks through 51 games (46 starts) since being selected by the Lions with the 18th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Iowa.
